Did you LOVE Jrock Revolution? Did you go to the first Festival? Even if you didn't, do you absolutely think that there NEEDS to be a second Jrock Revolution Festival? This is your chance to tell the promoters of the original Jrock Revolution Festival 1 to BRING IT BACK! We need your e-signatures and we need them by the thousands. Here's how it works: all you have to do is fill out a simple form and submit it to us. We will take care of the rest. Now, we cannot guarantee or make any promises that this will automatically make this magical event happen. JRR.com will do its best, but it is important that we have the signatures of each and every Jrock fan out there!
However, it is absolutely crucial that you read the rules or you may forfeit the opportunity to be counted. This is an extremely important matter.
Rules: 1) You must give your legal name. All your information is private and confidential and will not sold or shared. 2) You must not commit forgery. You may not sign up people for them, or without their knowledge. 3) You must only sign if you would seriously attend a festival in the United States within reasonable amount of notice to prepare. 4) You must provide one working e-mail address per person.
We cannot stress enough how vital it is that you do NOT sign up more than once and certainly not with false names.
Our statistics are to show an overwhelming desire for another festival with actual real people who are excited about attending the shows. For every duplicate or fake person you submit, you create an invisible attendee. Let’s say that you sign yourself up twice. In theory, this sounds nice because you are creating more numbers. However, if this petition succeeds, this demographics data will very likely go into planning for the second Festival. If the venue is, let’s say just for the math, 2,500 people. The promoters may plan that 2,500 people are going to spend money to attend. If you create an invisible person, that’s really like 2,499 people. One person may not matter, but if you have 400 people creating double or even triple accounts, that’s nearly 500 people (or more!) who will not be showing up because they do not exist. If the Festival loses enough money it may NOT COME BACK ever, so if you want the Festivals to possibly return in the future, be honest and make sure everyone you tell to sign the petition understands this as well.
The first festival was an astounding success and all without traditional promotional advertising. With this petition, we're offering firmer numbers through information gathering. If you want to help boost the numbers, direct people to this petition. Spread the word! Grab the code for your favorite banner and post it up on your website/LiveJournal/MySpace, etc. Then, fill out the fields below to add your name to the petition! [Please read the tool tips for each field of the petition (blue circle containing the white letter "i"). They will give further instructions.]
