VAMPS LIVE 2009 U.S.A.

VAMPS has announced the release of their first album The self-titled "VAMPS" will be released in Japan on June 10th.

We just received the new picture from VAMPS, too!

VAMPS is a new band from HYDE (L'Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust). The duo just started their Japan tour from Kawasaki Chitta on May 8th and will perform for 30 cities nation wide in Japan. Afterward, they will fly to NYC to kick off their U.S. Tour at the Fillmore.

It's been three years since the last time HYDE and K.A.Z visited Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Francisco, California in 2006. Many fans have been eagerly anticipating their performance in the U.S. Some of the venues have smaller capacities, such as 350. Then there's the Las Vegas show - "VAMPS Official Party" - it will be very interesting to see what special treat is in store for this stop! They will also perform at the WARPED TOUR, July 12th and 14th. WARPED TOUR is such a big festival, however their show at the Kevin Says Stage will be more personal than any other shows they perform in the US. I am sure VAMPS members will walk around the festival. You might even bump into them just strolling around.

Since they have only 3 singles released, I was wondering what they usually perform at the show. HYDE and K.A.Z have worked together on HYDE's solo project since 2003. Because of that, their usual set list is filled with HYDE's solo songs. Here's a set list for their DVD "VAMPS LIVE 2008"
