We just had Bento Beatbox Shooting!
It was very smooth this time.
Looking forward to see the show in July :)

Meanwhile... I have been big fan of Japanese rock and pop music since I was very little.
Here's some of the artists who I loved...
Do you know any of them??

Age 5 ~ 12
The Checkers

I was a member of their fan club since first grade and my first concert was age 11.
I went to BUDOKAN concert with my mom. It was a memorable moment....
I was so surprised how loud it was. And my ears were no good for two days!

Age 13
The Checkers, Princess Princess, Boowy

I was mostly into Anime and didn't know so much about Rock music.
But my friends in Track and Field club taught me Boowy and Princess Princess.

Age 14 ~ 15
-Japan Band boom era! - IKATEN generation, Jun Sky Walker(s), Unicorn, Tracy, Buck-Tick, NEW ROTE'KA, GO-BANG'S,

We had a huge band boom in Japan. TV program called - Ikasu Band Tengoku (IKATEN) many kids were watching this TV program.
This program was like American idol for indie bands (of course it was much smaller scale) .
It was a great source for coming up indie bands.
JITTERIN'JINN, Flying Kids, TAMA, Blankey Jey City etc... they are all from the IKATEN program.

Age 16 ~
Kuroyume, SPITZ...

After age 16, I start to listen more mainstream like Spitz and TK stuff, like globe, Tomomi Kahara, Namie Amuro, trf... I still liked Kuroyume though. They looked such a bad boys. I liked that. haha

Age 17 ~
I wanted to learn English. I started to listen more American music.
Yes... you don't wanna know this part ; }

Let us know who you want us to feature on Bento Beatbox next!
Thank you so much for reading my Blog!!
